and it is the all-sufficient authority for our faith and practice. 

... God

We believe in one God eternally existent in one essence, 

yet three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

... Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man; He was born of the virgin Mary.

He lived a sinless life, died in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind; 

was buried and arose bodily from the grave

.... the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son; 

that He is active in convincing unbelievers of their need for salvation and

the Savior.  He is the Comforter and Guide who lives in every believer. 

... Man

We believe the Genesis account of God's creation of the universe out of nothing -

by His spoken Word and His creation of mankind.

... Sin

We believe all people are sinners by nature and by choice

and therefore spiritually dead and in need of a Savior.

... Salvation

We believe that salvation is wholly the work of God and is received by grace

through faith in the work of Christ alone, resulting in right standing before God.  

We believe that every person who is truly saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ. 

... the Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, consisting of

Scripturally baptized believers who meet locally for worship, growth and service to God. 

... Heaven and Hell

We believe all people will face final judgment; believers to eternal life in heaven, 

and unbelievers to eternal punishment in hell. 

... Future events

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ascension into Heaven; 

and that He will one day return to establish His kingdom.
